Sales Tax

Residents of Illinois are assessed sales tax of 9.0%. Non-residents are not assessed sales tax.


In most cases, we will ship your order in 48 hours following confirmed payment (with the exception of postal holidays and days off). Shipping times might be delayed by 2 days during periods of high volume due to promotions, etc. We reserve the right to use one of the following carriers: UPS, FedEx, or USPS Priority Mail. We currently only ship to US addresses.

In an effort to be as eco-friendly as possible, we recycle and reuse shipping boxes and other packing material.

Local Pick Up

Naturally, there is no shipping fee if you opt to pick up your order in the Champaign-Urbana area. You can pick up your order at Mary’s residence in southwest Champaign. If you select this as your "shipping" option, Mary will follow up via email/text to find a good time to meet. We also currently offer FREE delivery for local residents of Champaign-Urbana. If you select this option during checkout, please know that you must be comfortable with your product(s) being left on your porch in a bag. If you are charged a fee but would still like to pick up locally, please contact and we'd be happy to refund your shipping charge.

Out of Stock Merchandise

We are doing our best to keep inventory as up-to-date as possible, but mistakes may happen. This means that occasionally you may order something that is not in stock. Some items may be available to purchase but will be 1-2 weeks on backorder, and those items are typically noted as such.

In the event of out-of-stocks and backordered items, we will contact you. You can decide to wait for your product, make a substitution, or accept a refund for that part of your order.

Defective Items

If an item is defective, usually you can contact the manufacturer and they will remedy the issue for you. If you have questions about that don't hesitate to call us and we'll help you get in touch with the supplier.

Returns & Exchanges

If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, we will happily accept returns on new, unused, unwashed, still in package merchandise within 30 days from the date of purchase.

In order to receive a refund or exchange items, email to coordinate an in-person drop-off.

Shipping costs will not be refunded. Additionally, if not returned with your order, the retail value of all any free products you received will be deducted from your final store credit amount. Due to the nature of our merchandise, returns on used merchandise will not be accepted.

Individual bank policies will dictate when this amount is credited to your account.


For every $1 you spend on products (order subtotal), you'll earn 1 reward point. Customers must create a user account to receive points. Points will be credited to the user account once the order is in completed status (delivered/shipped and the credit charged). The shopping cart software rounds to the nearest whole number. Rewards do not currently expire; however, B. Lime reserves the right to adjust rewards as appropriate and determine an expiration date in the future.

Your Privacy

We do not share your information with anyone or any company other than since they are the company processing your payment information (see Payment Methods for a link to their policies) unless required legally or unless authorized by you. We do not give, sell, rent or loan any of your information to any third party. Our order checkout page is secured. Your information is used only by us so that we can process and ship the items you've purchased. We will use your email address only for our purpose of contacting you if we have a question about your order, and we will also add your email address to our B. Lime email newsletter list unless you specify otherwise. You will always be able to remove your email from the mailing list at any time. Your email address will also be used by the site if you register as a returning customer.

Site Errors

Prices and availability of products and services are subject to change without notice. Errors will be corrected where discovered, and B. Lime reserves the right to revoke any stated offer and to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions, including after an order has been submitted and your credit card has been charged.
